Useful advice, with clear limits
Guides address specific tasks such as preparing a script, reading to camera and checking a recording. A guide should remain useful even if a reader does not use LumaCue. Content is informational and is not a substitute for professional, legal or technical advice about an individual situation.
Accurate product and compatibility claims
Descriptions of current product behavior are kept distinct from general recommendations. Recording support, permissions, playback and file saving vary by browser and device. We therefore avoid promising that every setup will work and recommend testing the complete workflow on your own device before an important shoot.
Desktop emulation is not treated as proof of behavior on a physical iPhone. When a conclusion depends on testing a particular device, that limitation should be stated rather than hidden behind a broad compatibility claim.
Sources, authorship and trust
We do not publish invented author or expert biographies, testimonials, ratings or usage figures. Advice that depends on a third-party platform’s rules should be checked against its current official documentation, with a source provided when it helps readers verify the recommendation.
Any commercial relationship that affects a piece of content should be clearly disclosed. Product links should be presented as a way to open the tool, not as an independent endorsement or as evidence of a third-party platform’s approval.
Corrections and updates
When product behavior or external recommendations materially change, the affected content should be reviewed and updated or outdated information removed. An update date changes with the content, not merely because the site was rebuilt.
